Another Spring, Hope After Cancer

I did it! I rode the four mile trail at Zion on my electric bike. I feel so blessed to be able to go to Zion National Park again, to still be alive after having cancer, and to be able to get out places.

Last spring, I was not feeling well. There wasn't any pain or anything definite, just a sense that something wasn't right. The main thing I noticed was that I was intensely tired after doing even small things. Having chronic fatigue and multiple allergies and chemical sensitivities, I was used to feeling draggy, but this seemed strangely different.

My prayer for help was answered

Yesterday, I was given help to solve my computer storage and backup problems. Yes, I pray to God and ask for His help even with little things such as using a computer. He really does care about me and helps me with my problems.

This doesn't mean that all I do is ask and "magically", without any effort on my part, all difficulties simply melt away. Yesterday was a pretty rough day for me. I knew I was at a point where my storage was dwindling, and I was having problems finding things. I know that this situation may not even be a problem at all for you, but for a seventy year old woman, who is a "creative" type, it was a BIG problem.

Trust God Even When It Doesn't Seem Logical

Yesterday was the day that we moved to Washington three years ago. I have been remembering what a trial of my faith it was to move four hours away from all my children and grandchildren.

These are pictures of what I would have missed.

Our youngest daughter had had their first baby a few months before and the baby was not doing well. They were up day and night caring for their ill child and they needed help. I prayed that we might be able to help them more than we presently were able to with the hour or two freeway drive and with my poor health. My answer -- "Go to St George". Tearfully I left our family, and my husband gave up his thriving retirement businesses, and we moved four hours south to the St George area. In less than a year, our daughter and her family had moved down here living only ten minutes from our home. We are now able to give the support we had wanted.

We've learned that no matter how illogical it may seem to our "little brains", trust the Lord, follow Him, and it will work out in ways we never dreamed possible.
The Gospel truly is the answer to all problems.
