Do Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Believe Jesus is the God of the Old Testament?

We believe in the original teachings of The Lord Jesus Christ which He taught when He set up His Church when He lived upon the earth. The is why we are called The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We do not follow the opinions of men that eventually replaced some of the Lord's teachings.

We believe that Jesus Christ was the Jehovah of the Old Testament and it was He who said:
3 And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.  Exodus 6:3
and
26 . . . ... all flesh shall know that I the Lord am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.  Isaiah 49:26  https://www.lds.org/media-library/images/category/teachings-bible-images?lang=eng

We also believe that Jesus Christ was assigned by God the Father to be the creator of this earth. As it says in Ephesians 3:9, God "created all things by Jesus Christ".

Of course, this does not mean that Jesus Christ is God the Father. They are two separate beings with glorified, tangible bodies. After His resurrection, the Savior had a body which could walk through walls, suddenly appear in closed rooms, and would never be ill, injured, or die.  Glorified bodies certainly are not the same as ours!

God the Father and Jesus Christ, together with the Holy Ghost, who is a personage of Spirit, form the Godhead.  Though they have different roles, they are completely united in their purpose and goals.

God the Father is the Supreme Being, Creator, and Ruler. He is also the father of our spirits. We worship Him. Jesus Christ is His Son, our Redeemer and Savior. The Holy Ghost reveals God's messages to us and testifies of God the Father and Jesus Christ. They work together to achieve their purpose:

"For behold, this is my work and my glory—to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man." Moses 1:39
